The home bleachers are pretty massive.

They are massive. Do they stretch from the back of each endzone or from the goallines? I know the visitor's will not be as deep, but will they be as long?

Are the locker rooms located under the stands or somewhere else adjacent to the field?

The visitors football locker room will be downstairs in the existing school building right behind the west end zone. The home locker room will be up the ramp right above the visitors.

I believe they are endline to endline, so 130 yards total. I'm not sure about the visitors side.

CR, on the home side, there are 29 rows of stands and they stretch from the end of one endzone to the end of the other (130 yards long). On the visitor's side, there are 5 rows of stands and they stretch from three yards beyond one end zone to three yards beyond the other end zone (106 yards long). The standard spacing used for bleacher seating is 18 inches.

 

While we are on the subject CR, can you provide similar information on Trinity's new facility for both the home and visitor's side. I know from just looking at pictures it looks like the visitor's bleachers go from the 20 to the 20, while the home side appears to go from the 10 to the 10.

Thanks. I know I went to Trinity, but would endzone to endzone be 120 yards, not 130? Will there be any chairbacks on the home side or is it all bleachers?

I believe the home goes from goalline to goalline (100 yards), but am unsure as to how many rows there are. 20-25 rows would be my guess. As to the visitor's side, I know they do not extend to the endzone on the East end of the stadium. I would guess they don't extend to the endzone on the West side as well re symmetry. Visitor's probably has 15-20 rows.

Brother Thomas More was the Principal of St. X. in the school's later years in the 1950's when we were still located at 2nd and Broadway. It was during this time that the football Tigers emerged from the shadows of Male, Manual, and Flaget, and established themselves as a permanent fixture in the football powers of Kentucky. To many of us, he was to St. X. as Fr. Hesburg was to Notre Dame...a man amongst men. We are greatly honored in having our new stadium bear the name of this great Xavierian.

Based on the picture at THSrock.net, it looks like home side goes from 10 yard to 10 yard line and visitor goes 20 to 20. BTW, Male, Manual, and Trinity are all away from Brother Thomas More for varsity next year so Our big crowds will be the opener and maybe Lexington Catholic. I don't think either of them will bring more than the 1000 seats on the visitor side.
