6,100 - 5,000 on the home side and 1,100 on the visiting side. I thought I had read your stadium seats 4,000 (obviously more for standing room).

If you think about, the only teams that will bring a crowd to St. X - even when X played at Manual Stadium - are Male's varsity, and Trinity's Frosh and JV teams. So having more visitor seating then 1,000 doesn't really add up.

I have to believe if the Home crowd is large enough to fill the 5,000 seats, the visitors would typically bring more than 1,100. How far away are the stands from the field? How many people attend track meets? Could they not have sacrificed a row or two to the visitors side?

^ I am concerned about this as well...tracks around fields make the seats a lot further away than they would be otherwise....Henry Clay's stand are way, way far away from the field...and an even worse bathroom situation prevails.

Other than that, there will be few games that use the full 1,100 seats. I'm not sure how the size of the home crowd has any factor on the size of the visiting crowd...

I would guess Male, Lex Cath, Cov Cath, Ballard and maybe Manual will bring 1,100. Plus any Cincy schools you schedule. One other thing is that these premiere games, Cov Cath, HHS, Cincy schools, attract fans from other schools.

The first thing I though of, was how poor the situation will be if they do schedule big games....I guess that takes away any big bowl events....

I'm trying to understand how you guys can worry about us hosting those schools when we have 50% more capacity. Would I like to see more seating on the visitor's side? Sure, but I don't think it's going to be a problem for us 90% of the time.

^ we don't have the big games coming...X said they wanted to host games like that.....and we have a ton of standing room, that has yet to be addressed by you folks.

The visitor stands at Marshall are as new as the home stands. The old home stands could not be used because they didn't meet code.

RP, it's my understanding that fans will be able to watch from the track and that for big games, temporary bleachers will be brought in (I would assume for the endzones given the large tarmac available).

How many rows of seats are on the visitor side? It looks like four to me but I could be wrong. If it is four rows by 100 yards thats 1,200 feet of seating space. If you figure on 24 inches per seat, it works out to about 600 guests. Could this be correct?

Also, a lot of new stadiums that I have visited with tracks have a fence on the outside of the track in the endzone areas (Henry Clay and I think Male are like this). Is X going to have the fence on the inside of the track between the track and the field like Manual Stadium?

I am sure St. Matthews has a different law as a municpal as there is not much parking anywhere in that ciy other than the mall.

I'm not 100% sure but I heard that there has been a recent change to the law/regulations. If so, maybe T was grandfathered in. I also heard that X will have to hire enforcement personnel to make traffic flow accommodations on surrounding streets before and after games......Does anyone know whether this is accurate?
