The playoffs will be a cluster. No one will know from week to week who, if anyone, is playing. Having a 5 week playoff under these conditions is ridiculous.

I'd imagine the red counties will be ignored once the playoffs start. Just a guess.

Ugh.

Lots of games off this week. In hindsight, yes should have started the playoffs a few weeks ago.

Ashland is willing to play even if they have to travel again. Someone give them a game.

Johnson Central will play.

Would probably be a poor decision by Ashland. Johnson Central would be favored. A loss could have RPI effects, which in turn could mean a semifinal road trip to Belfry when at this moment that game would most likely be at Putnam Stadium. I can see Ashland’s desire for a game but I wouldn’t play anyone I didn’t feel extremely confident I could beat.

Agreed. JC is very very physical also. You worry about getting players banged up before the playoffs also. Greenup should have made up the district game with Ashland instead of playing Bath.

I can see why they wouldn’t though. They're going to play Ashland in the first round of the playoffs. Why play back to back weeks (and take back to back beatings) if you don’t have to?

Also I think JC is one of the red counties I believe. I couldn't see that as a probable match up.

Rowan was a red county last week but Ashland still played that game.
