Final a Kentucky loss with a lot of what if.

Is this what a post Benny and Bowden world looks like?  Hopefully, Gatewood is the savior, although, there’s no deep threat for him.  I said over the summer UK fans secretly wanted him over Terry, it’s no longer a secret.  
 

I thought Terry was good in the first half.  The fumble was brutal, the Oline actually looked really bad in the second half.  Then again, no playmakers at receiver really.  Ali is a possession guy.

This is hard to do Kentucky loses by 16 points with the following stats: First downs Kentucky had 5 more than Auburn. Total yards Kentucky had 60 more total yards than Auburn. Time of possession Kentucky had the ball almost 13 minutes more than Auburn. The Cats did have 3 turnovers to Auburn's O.

Really dumb decisions by our QB and O coordinator, especially on the call on the goal line right before half, one of top O lines in the nation, you’re on the 1 foot line and you call a roll out pass with a poor decision maker at QB????????  I think there are times Gran tries to show how smart he is and he ends up showing everybody how DUMB he is!!!

I also believe UK abandoned the running game too early.  Kentucky needs to throw it, sure, but Wilson has not been in a game in more than a year.  I would have liked to have seen the Cats control the LOS more with the ground game.

The blown call before half that took a TD away from Kentucky was the difference.

I still think Auburn is better but if UK goes up going into the half I like their chances a lot better.

Oh well, good to see UK play a football game and be competitive with a team like Auburn. 

I think the officials are just about as unprepared as most of the defenses I’ve watched today.

This! UK being up 6 at half and getting the ball to start the second half, changes everything. UK playing with a lead and trying to control the clock. Is a lot different than U.K. having to play from behind. 

Definitely, terrible call by the officials, don’t see how you don’t call that a TD live and Gran’s play call on the next play was just about as bad!!

Will Gatewood gain eligibility and get in this week? 

Is it possible that UK is starting their 3rd best QB on the roster? What did you all expect from Terry Wilson? 

Without the 3 bought and paid for wins and the game against a beatable UL, UK is going to have a very tough time pulling out even a .500 record this season with all SEC games.  It's a shame because I think they could have finished with 8-10 wins.

About what he did, he’s ALWAYS been a terrible decision maker and too loose with the football, he does some good things but it doesn’t make up for the TO’s and bad decisions. 

Terry just is not very good.  You have the best line in football, not just the SEC, and still makes terrible decisions.  Gran has to allow him to run more, RPO in my opinion, but I think they are afraid he will get hurt.  He is not a pocket passer or someone who makes decisions.  UK dominated the game and still lost.  Play calling was not very good.  It appears the SEC is loaded with offenses after watching yesterday.  Not looking good as far as wins go.

Terry Wilson is 12-4 as a starter.

Sure he made some mistakes, he also hasn’t played in over a year. The offensive issues start and end with Eddie Gran.
