It was actually my mother's 1966 Mustang.

84 Volkswagen Golf.  Parallel parking was a breeze in it, but the best thing I liked about it was that it was a manual.  Always gave me a reason to not have 2 hands on the steering wheel.

And it was on a closed course.  The state DMV was in my hometown.  Never had to drive over 25 mph.  Randy Parker would have been sorely disappointed.

 

Mine was a 75 Ford Granada.  Lord that thing was ugly. 

First time was in a 1976 '98 Olds that we called the Bluesmobile. Aced parallel parking but was flummoxed on the turnabout requirement.

 

Second time was in about an '87 Calais Coupe and passed.

A 1968 baby blue Mustang convertible.  The only cool thing my dad ever owned.

We had a '65 burgundy ragtop bought new;  my mom's '66 was purchased in 1971 or thereabouts.  

My grandfather always had a cool car.  Drove up from Florida to visit us when he was 80 in a sky blue Camaro.
