There is an almost certainty that Central Hardin RB Deonco Wilkerson will not be at 100%. Anything less would be a big blow to the Central Hardin's offensive efficiency and the balance that they have had all year.

I'm going to give the edge to North because of that defensive line getting pressure and Wilkerson with a possible injury. I think it will be as close as something like 27-21. However, would not be at all shocked if Central won.

Wilkerson is still ailing from an ankle sprain in the Barren County game on October 11th.

I think this evenly-matched game will come down to whomever plays better on Friday night in terms of making explosive plays and eliminating costly errors. It would not be a surprise either way.

They are going to meet again in 2nd round of playoffs so might be better to leave him out and heal up. Would rather have him 100% in playoffs.

Denico will play tomorrow night. There is no way he will miss this match up. He was held out last week strictly as a precaution. I fully expect him to play and be 100%.

With no rooting interest in this game, I'm hoping for a blowout, one way or the other. I'm not expecting one, but I'd like to see it happen simply for how that outcome might introduce an unexpected talking point within 6A as we approach the postseason. Could a convincing result establish the winner as anything more than a darkhorse title contender?

 

As far as the game goes, both teams have plenty of individual talent that will make plays. Usually when that's the case, you have to look for things like field position, turnovers, and coaching decisions at critical moments - i.e., going for it on fourth and goal at the five late in the third quarter or settling for the easy points in a close game - to find your winner.

MrKnowNothing you are dead wrong, last night at practice he was not even 50% and Gavin George said he doesn't expect him to go Friday night. He was held out of the Meade County game as more than a precaution and probably needs a few more weeks to be healthy and 100%. Not sure where you are getting your information but your assumption that he will be fine is incorrect.

Having 6-4 George at CB and 6-4 (or 6-5) Elmore at safety is a nightmare. With Wilkerson playing I'd pick Central but if he doesn't play, North can beat them.

I'll go with Central 27-24.

If turnover margin is the difference, North Hardin has way more turnovers and penalties this year than Central Hardin.
