October 31, 20196 yr I like that MLB lined up the number one rated ump this year on balls and strikes to be behind the plate for game 7. Can't even imagine what it'd have been like if Cederstrom had been behind the plate. No matter who would've lost, they would've felt like they'd been screwed. (And probably would have.)
October 31, 20196 yr Really surprised they didn't walk Soto there. I know the Astros are not big on intentional walks, but...
October 31, 20196 yr Okay, Correa got jobbed there. Yeah, but he has consistently called that low and inside strike all night. The batters have to know that is a strike this late in the game. Edited October 31, 20196 yr by Voice of Reason
October 31, 20196 yr Well last night was fun. Pretty happy to collect on my first gambling bet. Lost my 2nd and 3rd already though, but I'm currently in the green! Love the fight of that Nationals team. Soto at 21 years old, goodness.
October 31, 20196 yr In the Nationals' 5 elimination games this postseason, Anthony Rendon came to bat in the 7th inning or later, seven times. In those 7 AB's, he: Walk Double Home Run Double Home Run Double Home Run That's the definition of clutch.
October 31, 20196 yr Fun World Series. Every game won by the road team. Pretty incredible, and it's never been done before. That there in itself makes this World Series one to remember.
November 1, 20196 yr Read where that somebody called Bryce Harper after the game last night but there was NO RING!! Love it!!
November 1, 20196 yr Author Yeah, but he has consistently called that low and inside strike all night. The batters have to know that is a strike this late in the game. But that one was way off the plate. The umpire was even set up on the inside part.
