I like that MLB lined up the number one rated ump this year on balls and strikes to be behind the plate for game 7.

Can't even imagine what it'd have been like if Cederstrom had been behind the plate. No matter who would've lost, they would've felt like they'd been screwed. (And probably would have.)

Really surprised they didn't walk Soto there. I know the Astros are not big on intentional walks, but...

Okay, Correa got jobbed there.

Yeah, but he has consistently called that low and inside strike all night. The batters have to know that is a strike this late in the game.

Mattress Mack will have to raise the stud fee on Runhappy. :)

Well last night was fun. Pretty happy to collect on my first gambling bet. Lost my 2nd and 3rd already though, but I'm currently in the green!

Love the fight of that Nationals team. Soto at 21 years old, goodness.

In the Nationals' 5 elimination games this postseason, Anthony Rendon came to bat in the 7th inning or later, seven times. In those 7 AB's, he:

Walk

Double

Home Run

Double

Home Run

Double

Home Run

That's the definition of clutch.

Fun World Series. Every game won by the road team.

Pretty incredible, and it's never been done before. That there in itself makes this World Series one to remember.

Read where that somebody called Bryce Harper after the game last night but there was NO RING!! Love it!!

But that one was way off the plate. The umpire was even set up on the inside part.

He flew out in the next at bat but still incredible.
