Lincoln was not the better team, Lincoln had the ball the whole second half and couldn’t score, sounds like Corbins defense was better to me. If they play again, Corbin by at least 3 touchdowns!

Didn't see the game but the number of plays thing doesn't mean a whole lot in high school. Different offensive strategies play a large part of quick strike teams vs. ground and pound. The score surprised me but I think Corbin wins 8/10 times.

I think Corbin is probably better than Lincoln but by all accounts Lincoln had a very good game plan and for the most part was able to execute. Crutchfield has done a good job this year with a team that isn't nearly as talented as last year. Depending on results next week you could see these two again in the first round of the playoffs.

I just can’t believe anyone that was there, and watched that 2nd Half would say Lincoln Co. didn’t outplay Corbin. Corbin had one explosive play. I’m not saying Corbin isn’t the better team, or a second matchup would yield a different result. But, from where this LC program has come in 2 years under Coach crutchfield they deserve some credit for how they played last night. It was a fun game to watch.

They might beat Lincoln by three scores but no result from either club so far this season makes that a sure thing.

Lincoln did play a good game, Corbin didn’t accidentally win either, all those flags in the first half sure kept a few more scores from happening as well. I was impressed with the chewing of the clock time management by Lincoln. Corbin fumbled twice after getting the ball and the on side kick recovery just played in to the time management for Lincoln. Lincoln just couldn’t score. They had the ball the end of the 3rd and the whole 4th quarter. If anything the Corbin DEFENSE won the battle, without 4 starters. Arguably there best 4 starters at that. But I will agree that Lincoln is improved and had a chance to win. Good luck to Lincoln as they will take on a battle tested Knox team and we will have our hands full as well with Wayne County.

They did, I think Corbin had about 5 plays on offense the second half. I enjoyed the pregame listening to the seniors quotes for Lincoln County for senior night. Like run with the lineman it makes you look faster lol. I was cracking up, lol. They had a bunch of good ones.
