Florida 29 Kentucky 21

It’s much easier to kick centered then at an angle, that’s just football 101. Again, right foot, right hash, wide right, seen it 100 times. Especially in nervous kickers who forget to sweep it, Poore was deer in headlights on the sidelines.

It’s the kickers preference. Period. If he comes out and says he wanted in the middle, then bash away.

Because maybe that’s not where the kicker likes it.

I’ve never seen a right footed kicker that likes the ball on the right hash.

Really!

Not one coach in the country doesn't go for the field goal at the end.

Gators have a stud backup quarterback.

So does UK. Kid played his butt off. I wish Gran had the confidence in him that he deserved. Kid played a heck of a game. There were a few times they took the ball out of his hands and shouldn't have. I don't remember one wildcat play working.

How many ways can one team lose to Florida? Play clock hits zero. Leave a receiver wide open. Backup QB comes in and score 19 unanswered. Just absolutely brutal.

Sadly, when Florida lost their starting QB, I said here comes the beginning of the end of this one. It held true.

I know we need to throw the ball to Wagner a lot more often.

I get that his numbers are, rightfully so perhaps, perceived as an anomaly but I COMPLETELY agree. Until a team can legitimately stop him, he needs to get more balls thrown his way, plain and simple he is creating yards.

Why didn’t he center the ball on my 35 yard game winner, if he’s playing for the kick?

Yes, ANOTHER good point!!

I do not like the wildcat in must-have short yardage. IMO it takes options off the table that the defense has to respect.

I also have a question, how many players are we going to have ejected before they understand that you can’t lower your head and hit people with it???!!! What have we had now in 3 games, 3-4 players ejected?? Cost us a HUGE sack last night!!!!!

I have. And I didn’t understand it either.

UK has to figure how to get third and fourth down and short yardage. Cost us two drives and several points.

They either start getting Smoke worked into the “wildcat” or stop using it on short yardage and go with more zone read stuff.

Does Stoops know that Smoke is his best back?

Just like in 2017, when Franks was out of the game Florida’s offense looked better. Crazy
