WHY didn’t Gran play for a TD instead of being conservative and putting it on that kid’s shoulders??

D was absolutely HORRIBLE in the 4th quarter, just HORRIBLE!! If we make them punt I bet we get back in position for another FG, just plain HORRIBLE by our D.

No way we should’ve lost this game but we found a way!!

Why didn’t he center the ball on my 35 yard game winner, if he’s playing for the kick?

The game changed on the series after Franks got hurt and UK was driving to put the game away, and Gran's super offense could not make a third and fourth and one with Rose. Never put the ball in your best players hands. On fourth, we were in the Wildcat and told everybody in the Nation what we were going to do. Run the ball with our weakest back.

Fire Gran. Worst ply calling ...again!

Our coaching staff have surely struggled in some close games.

Cats should have gone for it on 4th and 1 instead of the FG.

Then again, don’t give up 19 to a backup QB and you’re not in that spot.

Very true.

Because maybe that’s not where the kicker likes it.

On a side note, the person responsible for taking care of the laundry will have their hands full cleaning yellow flags. Geez Louise.

Anyone else feel like the o-line wore down?

.i watched football and saw about 5 or six kicks missed from that right hash mark just like Poore did. Jus easy to do. Tough to hook it sometimes.

I know we need to throw the ball to Wagner a lot more often.

Right foot kicker, right hash is a recipe for wide right. Ask any coach in any level of football, except Mark Stoops I guess. Kicker doesn’t sweep his foot across, a classic miss. Ball went perfectly straight, that’s why you center it.

It’s not the coaches decision. It’s about what the kicker wants. You can rail on Gran/Stoops for some things, but not that. If the kicker comes out and says he wanted it in the middle, have at it.

It’s much easier to kick centered then at an angle, that’s just football 101. Again, right foot, right hash, wide right, seen it 100 times. Especially in nervous kickers who forget to sweep it, Poore was deer in headlights on the sidelines.
