August 27, 20197 yr 2. Frisch's. Used to love it, doesn't seem quite as good the last few times I've ordered. I noticed this as well. At first I thought my aging taste buds where beginning to fail me, but I'm glad somebody else has confirmed my opinion.
August 27, 20197 yr Buckhead's in Newport / Bellevue has really good chili. Zip's has AWESOME chili, I don't care if it is 1 billion degrees Kelvin, I'm still ordering a bowl of their chili on any visit to Zip's. Pee Wee's in Crescent Springs has good chili. When Shakey's was in Florence, they had great chili. For fast food, or in need of speed and a drive thru, I find Wendy's chili perfectly satisfactory.
August 27, 20197 yr I’m shocked at the love Wendy’s chili is getting. Due to finances, I almost lived off that stuff on road trips during my college baseball career. I haven’t eaten it since 1992 and will never eat it again.

August 28, 20197 yr The two best I've ever had: - Varallo’s, Nashville. - Barney's Beanery, Pasadena. If I'm really craving it and don't want to make it, I've been known to hit up Wendy's.

August 28, 20197 yr I was a Wendy's employee years ago as a teenager. You might change your opinion on the chili if you knew the source of the meat (or at least what it was back then). Let's just say the meat is not as fresh as what you would get in a burger.

August 28, 20197 yr Prefer my homemade chili, but when it's cold outside and we're on the way to games, I'll go for Wendy's or Steak-n-Shake.
