What is your favorite "Ice Cream Shop" snack? What I mean is you go into a Graeter's, Dairy Queen, UDF, Baskin-Robbins, Cold Stone, Ben & Jerry's, etc. What is your favorite Ice Cream related snack to get? If you select "Other," please specify.

 

This is tough, but I'll go with a Blizzard, or whatever it might be called at the specific shop. Cookie Dough or Butterfinger would be the treat of choice.

UDF malts with Silver Grove Dairy Bar a close second.

Hawaiian Blizzard, hands down.

Banana Split Blizzard is very similar, except it has chocolate syrup and strawberries in place of the Devil's Dandruff (Coconut).

True! Oreo, Banana Split, Butterfinger, and Reeces are my favorites.

Vanilla with sprinkles mixed in on a heated waffle cone from a place like Coldstone. Simple, yes, but my favorite!

My problem with the blizzards aren't the flavors...it's the people making them. I can't tell you the last one I had that actually had the "flavoring" mixed all the way to the bottom. What I usually get is the top half mixed, and the bottom half is just plain ice cream. :ohbrother:

Probably a Snickers Ice Cream Bar or Caramel Sundae for me.

WAY back in the day, there was a place in Morehead that served smashburgers. They also had banana splits in a cup. Loved them.

 

And I distinctly remember a vacation we took to New Brunswick in 1968. Lobster dinners were $2.99. The biggest dessert on the menu was called the smugglers’ special. It was basically a big banana split with a can of peaches on top.

 

My metabolism was a bit higher back then. Think blast furnace.

I consider the two types of ice cream to be very different. Soft serve vs hard packed.

 

Soft serve is Heath Blizzard all the way.

 

Hard pack is a double dip sugar cone, with butter pecan being my top choice.

 

And since I go hard pack more often, I put cone as my favorite.
