They literally change alignment pitch by pitch, so you'd think they would have moved him in. Dumb either way though. I seriously doubt Votto listens to anything anybody on that bench says.
May 1, 20197 yr I'll agree with these statements. He is a very bad baserunner. I remember back to his inability to slide as well. Yep, got hurt and missed significant time because he screwed up sliding. I was told they try not to put him in a position where he’ll need to slide!!
