You have to feel bad for Cal a little, well not really, 9 million keeps him happy I’m sure... but if he beats the now unemployed Kevin Ollie, or the one great Wisky team, or closes with Wall, or beats Pearl without his best player, we all probably look silly even commenting on this topic.

My short answer is yes, I can't think of anyone better at the moment that would take the job. It's NCAA basketball is the hardest tournament in sports to win, IMO, but Cal gives UK that opportunity nearly every year. It's hard to not be happy with a coach that does that.

It's a shame that we have to reflect and remember those terrible years during this stretch to justify Calipari's career. I'd prefer those be the dark year that go unmentioned haha!

I wouldn't go so far as to say they aren't Kentucky fans, but I do question their intelligence and level of expectation.

Cats improved every year in the rebuilding until 1994 and the loss of Dent and an inside presence seemed to doom them to an early exit.
