A guy I wouldn't want either that some of mentioned is Eric Bienenemy. Eventually the run of Andy Reids OC's stepping in and doing great will end, after it worked out well the last 2 years. Plus not like he would have a Patrick Mahomes at qb running the offense. I know he is a former Bengal, but for me he is not one of the guys I would like.

I'm glad that Marvin helped rebuild the image of the Bengals after the disastrous 1990s, but this should have happened several years ago after that meltdown against the Steelers. Things just haven't been the same since that time.

Ties to Cincinnati? Only 50 years of ownership living in Cincinnati, raising their family here and Katie Brown Blackburn spending basically her entire life in Cincinnati. The stadium has patriarch Paul Brown's name on it. Honestly, there are few if any ownership groups more deeply embedded in their city than the Bengals and the Brown family.

Really? You think Mike Brown knew it would be a disaster and that is why he brought Marvin back?

 

If true, Mike was sweating bullets when the Bengals were 4-1. I guess he started injuring players at that point to make sure things fell apart.

 

I heard it said that the Bengals had more key players go on the IR this year than in the previous three years combined. If not for the injuries, odds are Marvin would have added to his playoff ineptitude.
