I saw Chez score 50+ at Pendleton County his senior year. He put on a show.

I was gonna mention him. He played with my uncle. His senior year, in 1983-84, he led the state while averaging 30.6 ppg. I used to play golf with him a lot, however I haven't seen him in maybe 3-4 years. He played college ball at Morehead State while earning OVC all-freshman honors in 84-85. I was always told that he was great at using his body and drawing fouls. I think his exact total was 3,181 points at PC.

Scott Draud Averaged over 36 points a game his senior year at Highlands. This was before the three point line and just about all of his shots were bombs from downtown. Best shooter by far that I have ever seen.....

 

 

AMEN!!! Scott was deadly when he crossed half court at Highlands. I have seen most of the above mentioned players and they could not shoot w/Draud.

Have you ever watched Ervin Stepp play?

Ervin Stepp is probably one of the best shooters ever in Kentucky.

If you average 60 points a game without 3 pointers, I'd say its a pretty good bet that you can shoot.

I have seen him play with the 3-point line and he was absolutely deadly then, as well.

I would put Scott Draud ahead of Chapman. Because it is best SHOOTER

All around basketball player yes Rex ahead of Scott.

Casey Alsip from Scott County is the best shooter I ever played against. His size kept him from being a big time college player somewhere. Lofton was also amazing.

I did see Farmer and Houston, but that was in college and the NBA with Houston so I didnt count them.

Didn't Alsop start 2 maybe three years at G-Town when they were top 5 in the NAIA . Talk about talent on those Scott Co. teams in the late 90's early 00's. They had 3 D-I players Hamilton-Marshall,Jones & Hundley-Vandy, And also Alsop who played a big role at G-Town which is technically D-I caliber playing NAIA. They also had #23, I think his name was Harris but I can't recall for sure who probabily could have played D-I, and may have but to my knowledge didn't. But they were stacked from top to bottom.
