How does Southwestern's field look? How can two schools minutes apart in the same school system have fields in dramatically different shape?

The game is being played at Pulaski County and Pulaski County only.

Would it be embarrassing if their opponent filed a protest with the KHSAA without even seeing the field?

Truth be told I think that's exactly what the coach wants. He was promised turf a few years ago and when it came time for the board to approve it, they changed their mind. I think he's happy with the controversy and embarrassment.

 

I think he's hoping if it's bad enough the BoE will give in.

Idk what type of offense PC runs but assuming they’re like most mountain teams, they’ll grind it out on the ground which would play into their strength. I could be wrong. it would virtually make CovCath one dimensional if it’s that bad. It’s also in the players heads too.

My lifelong observation is that mudbowls tend to heighthen everybody's level of incompetence, upsets become a regularity and underdogs often prevail against the superior opponents.

Not one word from the players or coaches at school, CovCath, on Monday or Tuesday about the field !!!!!!!!!
