I love them! Now hopefully Notre Dame comes out and takes care of business in them.

Notre Dame, because they are a better team. Offensively these teams are fairly equal as far as stats. I think the Irish get the edge due to their defense.

These teams have had three common opponents this year and Notre Dame has played each of them better than Syracuse. The margin of victory favors the Irish against each common opponent: Florida State +6, Pittsburgh +12, and Wake Forest +12. Not to mention that Syracuse actually lost to Pittsburgh.

I don't think that they are that bad. They've worn worse since the Shamrock Series uniforms became a thing. I'd guess the players like them and they can make a few extra bucks selling merchandise. I'd prefer the traditional Blue and Gold, but I'm not mad about them.

Oh man that’s a bad take. :lol2: ND should never wear something on their heads that isn’t gold. You want to have special jerseys, cool. You want to put a leprechaun or a shamrock sticker on the helmet, cool. But you can’t be the golden domers without golden domes. Haha

The irony of ND wearing pinstripes is Brian Kelly is a pretty big Red Sox fan. :lol2:

It's tempting to pick Syracuse with the upset here and in a way I wish that they would. I think that Cuse' may get an early lead but ND is just too talented overall. I say that ND wins … in spite of their coach (that I can't stand :D)

I don't care for the uniforms as a whole, and I also think they're absolute sacrilege for the Irish.

I love when traditional programs get away from their old, boring uniforms every once in a while.

Notre Dame 31-24.

It seems I'm in the minority but I love the uniforms.

I read an article the other day about this. The AD was always the type that when you have a strong tradition, you stick with that tradition. However, when he became AD his thought process changed. This is about the kids, and they love this stuff. Each Shamrock Series uniform takes into consideration the opponent and/or location. They wore all green at Fenway for the Green Monster.

I am the exact opposite, especially when the team does a change as drastic as this. I hate the all-black look that every single team seems to want to do on occasion. I really, really don't like teams that do major changes to their helmets.
