Big thumbs up for me after I abandoned PS Vue when they kept adding channels I didn't want and it was becoming too expensive. Easy to use and it has a great DVR feature. Plus, you can easily search for films that have already aired on other channels.

 

I run mine through the Playstation 4, a Roku, and an app that runs on my laptop.

Email was sent out today that Youtube Tv and Fox Regional Sports have not reached an agreement and as of February 29 2020 you will no longer be able to watch those channels. Pretty big blow for the upcoming Mlb season.

I think Sinclair is having trouble selling all this at a price sufficient to match the price they paid for all this content when Disney sold them off after the FOX merger.

 

Sling and Fubo both dropped the Fox Sports Regionals recently as well.

Hoping that it can get resolved by late March. Not being able to watch the Reds is going to be a big blow.

My problem occurs much sooner. I won't be able to see the Lightning unless they are on NBC proper.

What's nice about this new world without cable providers and set-top boxes is that it's not much more complicated than about a few clicks if I decide to switch from YouTubeTV to Hulu Live or one of the other services that still carries the Fox Regionals.

That is one of the really nice things about it. Just like the premium subscriptions like HBO, etc everything can be done via remote control.

 

That said losing the fox sports regional networks is a big blow. It won't really effect me because about all I watch on their regional networks would be the Reds and I don't sit and watch most of it anyway, just have it on in the background and I can do that with radio.

All I need for them to do is negotiate through the first 2 rounds of the Stanley Cup playoffs. They can do whatever they like after that.

We finally got switched over to YouTube TV on Wednesday. Haven't played with it much yet but thankful for all the recommendations here.

I've been thinking about this for a while...$40 a month for what appears to be most of the channels I already watch. Can anyone give me the Pros and Cons of it?

 

The biggest thing I'd miss from my daily viewing is the Discovery Channel.
