(12) Kentucky/Mizzou Predictions

Featured Replies

Kickoff is set for 4 PM on the SECN on Saturday from Mizzou.

Cats are a 6 point underdog in this game.

Also, Mark Stoops said in the press conference that Terry Wilson is still the starting QB but multiple QB's will be used as well as the freshmen kicker Chance Poore

Watching the past 2 and a half games it's hard to have much confidence going into this game as a fan. Defense will be put to the test and will need to come up big again this week. It would help Kentucky a lot to get some early 3 and outs or turnovers, that could help the offense get some rhythm going.

I actually thought this game would be Kentucky’s first loss after the Florida game. I’m curious about this one. The defense will be great, but Missouri is going to be the best offense they have faced all year. They’ll get their points despite Kentucky’s great defense. You can’t put the defense on the field as much as they were in the Vandy game. UK has to go on long sustained drives that end in points. I’ll go Cats 24-21 but I’m not confident about it.

UK wins by 10

I want to pick Kentucky to win this, but there's no way a team with a QB terrified and incapable of throwing the football is going to score enough to beat Missouri's offense.

If Hoak plays, I think the Cats wins. If Wilson does, and we all know Stoops is going to play Wilson, it gets ugly. Hope I'm wrong, but 31-10 Tigers.

Kentucky 31-24.

U.K. wins in a close one. Something like … 34-31

I think this could be a bad matchup for UK but I’ll take Kentucky 28-21.

I still have faith in the UK defense, but I have zero faith in the offense with Terry Wilson at QB.

Missouri wins by a couple of TD.

Cats by 7 in tough one!

Missouri people feeling pretty confident about this one. Former player tweeted that WHEN they beat Kentucky to not rush the field. Basically says beating Kentucky is not worthy of field rushing regardless of the ranking.

I think the line is to Mizzou -7 now. These last two and a half games have scared everyone off of Kentucky.

Missouri has played two really good teams and two pretty good teams. They are 1-3 in those games and the win came when Purdue was still learning to play.

Their wins are over Purdue, UT Martin, Wyoming and Memphis.

I'm not sure why people act like they are world beaters. I think Kentucky is much better than they get credit for, even though they continue to win games. I believe the Wildcats go in and get the win Saturday.
