October 14, 20187 yr LSU and Georgia need dropped out of the top 10. How does LSU, they have beaten three top ten teams.
October 14, 20187 yr The rankings look good IMO. If anything I’d flip flop Michigan and Georgia. Aside from that, looks good to me.
October 14, 20187 yr Didn’t watch the games, but just looking at the scores, I would move Georgia down more than 4 spots. I think 10 sounds about right. I’d have Oregon in the top 10 as well. They are an epic collapse away from being undefeated.

It seemed like a week where a lot of top teams struggled. Much like that UCF team struggled to beat Memphis. When UCF played Pitt they were probably very motivated since that is one their few games against a power 5 team to try to prove themselves. While Notre Dame just came off of two straight games of beating ranked teams and probably wasnt as focused. Top teams do have bad weeks sometimes against teams they shouldn't. The key is still winning even when not playing your best.
October 15, 20187 yr UCF won’t move any higher until anyone ahead of them loses again. This. UCF is getting plenty of love by being in the Top 10.

Motivation plays a huge role in the outcomes of games and the final score. You can’t just blindly point to ND playing Pitt close and UCF blowing them out as a reason UCF is better than ND. You have to look at the bigger picture.

"ND wasn't motivated...that's why it was a close game." :lol2: They beat Michigan over a month ago in the FIRST GAME OF THE YEAR. Are we really hanging on to that? Michigan has come a long way since that game, similar to what we have seen from Florida. Stanford just got pounded by Utah...with or without Love, that defense gave up 40. Virginia Tech just struggled to beat a UNC team that lost to East Carolina 41-19...and let's not forget Old Dominion. You really think ND is a top 4 team?? I watch enough football to know anything can happen on any given Saturday, but I also know what my eyes tell me and ND would get beat by 2 TDs by Clemson, Bama, OSU, LSU, and Georgia. I also don't think ND could keep up with an offense like Oklahoma.
