ThrillVille Cardinal51 Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Kentucky deserves every bit of a #17 ranking.
hrcarrier Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Kentucky deserves every bit of a #17 ranking. At this point, I agree.
hrcarrier Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 My top five for now would be: 1) Alabama 2) Georgia 3) Ohio State 4) Clemson 5) Oklahoma
John Anthony Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 My top five for now would be: 1) Alabama 2) Georgia 3) Ohio State 4) Clemson 5) Oklahoma Pretty simple there with the exception of Oklahoma right now. OSU has Penn State next week though.
Run To State Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 My top five for now would be: 1) Alabama 2) Georgia 3) Ohio State 4) Clemson 5) Oklahoma I don't see why Ohio State should be in the top 5 yet. Their schedule is sub par for their ranking IMO. Who have they beat yet to give them a top 5 spot really?

Who have they beat yet to give them a top 5 spot really? No one, it’s more so the way that they have. More will be answered this coming Saturday. With exception to Clemson squeaking one out on the road against Texas A&M, I don’t think any teams can really make any completely solid claims with exception to Alabama and Georgia.

Who have they beat yet to give them a top 5 spot really? Who has Bama beat? Or Clemson? Or Georgia? TCU/A&M/ South Carolina is there that much difference between the 3? Come on man find a new argument.

Jumper_Dad Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 LSU has the two best wins on the season, they should be higher in my opinion.
Jumper_Dad Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 1. Alabama 2. Ohio State 3. Georgia 4. LSU 5. Clemson
Run To State Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 You’re impressed with Oklahoma’s OT win vs Army though? Did I say I was? The whole ranking system is ridiculous. Your OSU gets ranked the same reason my ND does and it's not a good reason but it is what it is. IMO, neither is deserving most years. That won't sit well with you likely, but I'm just being honest.
Run To State Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 1. Alabama 2. Ohio State 3. Georgia 4. LSU 5. Clemson Curious why you would rank OSU higher than Georgia and LSU based on their schedules and who they've beaten.

Come on man find a new argument. Clemson is as bad IMO but I think right now , Bama has a much tougher schedule as does Georgia. A&M would destroy TCU. I'm not arguing, I'm just being honest. I can't help it if you don't like my honesty. I don't think OSU would be ranked long if they were playing in the SEC this year. If you're honest with yourself, I think you'd likely agree. I don't know why people take this stuff to heart, it's not an attack on you, there are plenty of people that think the Big 10 is a weak conference currently and for good reason. It's nothing personal.
