Curious why you would rank OSU higher than Georgia and LSU based on their schedules and who they've beaten.

Based on my own eye test and watching them all play. Head to Head I'd favor OSU right now over either of them.

LSU doesn't have enough offense to beat a dynamic offensive team.

Georgia right now doesn't seem to have enough defense to beat them...in my opinion.

Clemson is as bad IMO but I think right now , Bama has a much tougher schedule as does Georgia. A&M would destroy TCU. I'm not arguing, I'm just being honest. I can't help it if you don't like my honesty. I don't think OSU would be ranked long if they were playing in the SEC this year. If you're honest with yourself, I think you'd likely agree. I don't know why people take this stuff to heart, it's not an attack on you, there are plenty of people that think the Big 10 is a weak conference currently and for good reason. It's nothing personal.

Lol OSU with the best offense in school history wouldn’t be ranked in the SEC... that’s all we need to see here folks.

What’s next, UK would beat us? Love your “honest” CFB takes.

Even the most seasoned, OSU haters disagree with you.

Okay, think what you will, we'll see at the end of the season. If I'm wrong I'll be man enough to say so. Hope I can expect the same. Also, if you don't think the whole playoff system isn't money driven, I have some real nice swamp land to sell you, lol. My CFB takes aren't based solely on my favorite team, it's obvious others are....

One more thing, we don't know how good that offense would be against real competition yet, they haven't played anyone. Good luck on your team and the rest of their season.

Who have they played to make you think they'd beat either? Texas beat down TCU and they lost to Maryland. I will say of the two right now, Georgia seems the weakest.

None of the teams in front of OSU has played or “beat” anyone. What steers your hate to OSU specifically in the top 5? Isn’t your “hasn’t” played anyone logic universal, or are you saying this is a really bad OSU team?

So if and a big if, they beat TCU and Penn State on the road, neither of those wins count against 2 ranked teams?

Teams behind them have, kind of my point. I don't "hate" that they're in the top five, I just don't think they've earned it much like I don't think my Irish have earned a top 10 ranking yet. My dislike isn't against OSU, it's the whole BCS so yes it's very universal. I hated the way they used to determine the champion, I hate the current system as much. Include 16 teams and I'm happy, even 8 right now would be much better. Money drives this too much and I hate that.

As for OSU, I don't know how good or bad they are based on who they've played. Problem is, their schedule and conference at this point doesn't help that. How good would you say the PAC-12 is? Right now, I don't see the Big 10 much better overall.

In all honesty, I don't know, OSU might very well be the best team in football this season. In the same light, they might be overrated. I just don't know because of what I ave to base it on. That's all I'm saying. I'm not knocking your team. I just can't gauge it on anything, it's all so watered down to me anymore, including teams I follow and like.

Sure, but what are the rankings based on? Are you telling me TCU wasn't overrated? Who have my Irish beat to deserve an 8th ranking?

It's not always about comparing schedules. I've watched football for 40+ years, I just think LSU (who I really like) would struggle to score enough to keep up with OSU (who I'm no fan of).

Georgia's struggle containing the Missouri passing game makes me wonder about their ability to slow down an elite offense.

I mean you have to rank somebody after Alabama right? For the sake of rooting interest.

I don’t believe in rankings either. We agree there! I just strongly disagree that OSU would be ranked if they played in the SEC this year.

Fair enough. Like I said, I don't know, it's all too watered down for me anymore. We will see in the end. Good luck to your Buckeyes.

Right now I think LSU would beat them . I'm not sure if they would beat Auburn. We won't know if they don't play.

If you’re judging this based solely on who they’ve beaten then LSU should be #1. Georgia hasn’t played anyone either except an overhyped SC team that Kentucky is going to beat by 3 TDs this weekend.

What did I just read? No need to respond. :lol2:
