The Powell police department will not release their report and changed it to being not charged 3 years later. Also "Chief Vest has said his officers met with officials from the Delaware County prosecutors office, which ruled there was insufficient evidence to file felony charges.

Did Urban have knowledge of the findings of the police report in 2015? They were sealed until just recently.

I respectfully disagree. I think it’s incredibly easy to say these things online but much more difficult to actually apply these actions when you’re dealing with people you actually have a relationship with. That’s why Urban gets paid to make these decisions. But just because he gets paid to make these decisions doesn’t make them any easier.

 

I've been in an almost exact similar position, I hated to but fired the person within 24 hours.

You have at least criticized Urban for the press conference which is more than most Ohio State fans on here. This will never happen but I would respect the fans more who was completely honest and said I want Urban here cause he's a great football coach what happens off the field I don't care. I would disagree with that but if you asked a lot of fans I think they will take wins over morality any day.

I also think this shows like Pitino how so many coaches think they are bulletproof and how so many coaches are literally shocked when they get criticized for things like this. The ego in some coaches man.

As an interesting aside to those who watched the press conference and/or read the report, the unnamed assistant coach who racked up the tab at the strip club with Zach Smith was Tom Herman. It was reported the incident took place on 5-8-2014 in South Florida and Zach Smith tagged Tom Herman in an instagram post on 5-7-2014 saying they were on a recruiting trip together in Miami. Again this has no effect on the case with Urban and doesn't really mean anything for Herman at Texas either but just thought it was an interesting side note and I was curious who the coach was when I read the report.

I watched the live stream from the Ohio State site and the reporters in the room were given something before the press conference started but I'm unsure what it was. Besides most of the questions that were most pertinent in my head were the questions that were asked and they weren't even included in the report. Also Mary Jo White gave a pretty detailed summary of the report before the press conference began. Did you watch the press conference live?

I'm completely shocked they didn't wait for a Friday afternoon news drop. I wish they would have because that press conference was the most unorganized chaos I've ever seen.
