Congrats to the Colonels on the big win but also to Highlands for not only busting their tails all night but also showing great sportsmanship. Two class act teams put on a show tonight. Can't wait to see the rematch.

Thanks to all of the players for showing what "With a Spirit That Will Not Die" is truly all about. On both sides of the ball you all played exceptional. This game was won by the team not by an individual player.

Now for my only complainant of the game (and from many of the CovCath faithful as well at the game) ladies and gentlemen from the Team from Ft. Thomas please understand, it has been a while since we have beaten you, but come on, why not put the final score up on the scoreboard.....

 

 

You guys can't seriously be complaining about that. How about this, I'll head over, turn the scoreboard on and put your score up for the next two weeks. That way, anyone that is walking through knows what the score of the game was and they're positive who the winner was...

 

 

Anyway, It's been a while since I went to a game and looked forward to seeing the replay like I am this one. There are a few things I missed from my viewpoint that I can't wait to see. High school football at its best...

I will add that the CCH/HHS rivalry wouldnt be a rivalry if the Birds continued to win each and every time out. Its the law of averages...two very good teams. Lets hope the Birds win the one that matters in 2 weeks.

I was thinking about that this morning....with all the bad camera angles and mishaps.... they nailed that last play. I mean the replay was literally showing the play occurring 10 feet in front of him. Give credit to the Switchboard guy.. I am assuming he is the one who shifts camera angles.... the play started off from behind the Colonels and quckly shifted to the corner. Great work and worth mentioning.

THE 2 BEST TEAMS IN 3A? Or did you mean 2 of the 3 best teams in 3A? Last time I checked, BG was #1. I admit CovCath & Highlands are very good, but please don't count us out yet.

No offense to the Purple, good team good program but when they start scheduling Louisville St. X, Cincy Elder, Cincy St. X, etc. etc. otherwise when you beat mediocre competition all year yeah a 6-4 team impresses me more than a 9-0 or 9-1

Wow, I had to read almost to the end to finally find someone else who is questioning the Birds kickoffs!!!! The beginning of the year, Bathiany was kicking them out of the end zone! This might work against Grant or South Oldham, but for crying out loud, not against CovCath!!!! Why, why, why?

Not trying to get off topic, but Bowling Green has played St. X the last two years. They also played Warren Central and Christian County this year, both teams ranked in the top ten in 4A this season. BG can't do anything about their district competition. Sounds like the HH CC was a great game. Surprised Highlands lost. After watching them play St. X, I thougth they would skate into State.
