#99
Due to the depth i have to go (roughly 14 inches) to get leveled up with the current drive way, im starting with a bunch of the base 2 gravel first, then dense grade on top. First load cant be tailgated due to the drop and a residential power line going to the house. After that most of it can be tailgated. Sounds like your doing it the right way. The 2s help keep the rest from sinking in the ground. The dense grade locks it all together. Topped with 57 or 6s or some people like 8s. I did excavation work for a long time. Seen too many people put small gravel on dirt only to have it sink in the mud. Edited July 5, 2018 by #99 Spelling

Just Jim
Looks good. That is a big barn. Old ones are hard to keep in repair. I've got one and thinking about putting siding on it.
oldgrappler
What are you using it for? Driveway? Have them put a block in the center of the tail gate so it only drops gravel on the wheels part if you need to stretch it out. I haven't been able to get anybody to do that here. Did it all the time where I grew up. I've suggested it to a couple different companies and they decline.
