There's also a lot of anti-gun control folks (yourself included) that do care. I also don't think the NRA or the gun industry care one iota. They obviously don't want these incidents to happen, but when they do, they know it means an uptick in $$. Okay, perhaps I mistook what you said. People in the industry care more than you think.

May 23, 20188 yr We can agree to disagree on most of this and still be friends. As for the graduation photo, just google "Kent State gun girl." We absolutely can! I would never let a difference of opinion change that. I'll check it out. I'd venture to say social media is more a culprit than gun culture, just my opinion.

Saw a recent poll, I believe it was Gallup, that showed that 57% of those under the age of 30 want more, stricter gun control. It's coming....

But if you are talking about ways to help end the school shootings I disagree. I've heard plenty of ideas from the gun rights side on ways to better protect schools. It seems the anti gun side is only wanting to focus on guns.
May 23, 20188 yr I agree with this. Japan, UK, the Scandinavian countries, Australia, etc, have extremely low gun related deaths. What are their laws and what are they doing different than the USA? Maybe our lawmakers can copy whatever they’re doing and come up with some solutions. As mentioned before from Guru, From 2009-2015, the US wasn't in the top 10 of advanced countries with mass shootings per capita. Norway, Serbia, Finland, Belgium, France, Macedonia, Albania, Slovaki, and Czech Republic all were ahead of the US. Nothing to be proud of, just making note. It would be a interesting study to find out why countries with low rates do not have this problem.
