Bobby is the friend I was talking about. Really good guy and definitely knows what he’s talking about.

Good to know! I am looking forward to it.

Just returned from the Father/Son Golf Classic in Myrtle Beach. My son and I won our flight Net Game at -20 over two days. Won net by 7 strokes. Brought home some crystal. 5 years going, crystal twice. First time 1st place, though. Holes one out with an 8 iron from 140 yards for an eagle net 1 at Wachasaw East.

Only got to play two of three rounds. It was a complete wash out on Friday. First cancellation in 21 years of the tournament. 7 inches of rain last week in teh Myrtle Beach area, they said.

Had to retire thanks to a crushed vertebrae but I have a nephew who is trying to go pro. Pretty cool. Played in a tourney in Louisville with Dru Love, Davis Love's son, a couple months ago.

Played my own ball on Monday for the first time since July 16th. It was ugly. 85 at Houston Oaks.

Weather permitting, I'm playing at Valhalla on Sunday. Hoping I hit it a little better. If I don't I could shoot a whole bunch!

Well, the weather forecast has caused my event Sunday at Valhalla to be cancelled. They are trying to find a date in October to make it up. Hopefully that'll happen.

Shot an 89 at Tanglewood this afternoon, 48-41. Had a nice back 9, had a couple of blowup holes on the front, started out with a 7 on opening hole par 4 with some ugly swings. Much better after I warmed up and got a few holes under my belt. went right from the car to first tee, usually not a great combination. No driving range there anyway. After 2 months of the shanks and pretty much about quit playing, this was the first round I have played in weeks without a shank. Was happy about that.

Wanting to play at Crooked Creek tomorrow morning but it is 30 dollars for 9 holes.

Don’t say that word anywhere close to a golf clubhouse, lol. “SHANKS!!!”. I’ve seen golfers cringe and shiver with just a mumble of that word.

About made me give the game up this summer had them so bad, for weeks. Have had them before but not to this extent. Had 6 pars on the back 9, and missed a gimme or would have had 7 of them. Left the course happier than I had been in quite some time.

I posted a 90 last month at A.J. Jolly My best ever! I've been under 100 my last 5 rounds now! I took lessons to just figure out what i was doing wrong and it has seemed to help!

I belong to Northern KY Chapter of the MGA (mediocre golf association) we golf once a month its a blast!

I'm hoping to play Sunday at Houston Oaks in a 2 man scramble.

This weather has been atrocious.

That course is too expensive for the product in my opinion.

If anyone is ever just driving through Nicholasville, Connemara is $22 for green fee and the is cart included. You can play as many holes as you want after 1:00. Some really cool holes and some really boring holes, but for that price for a nice course in good condition I don’t think you can beat it. I try to stop and play it anytime I roll through the area.

Haven't played there in years.

You nailed the hole descriptions though. Doesn't get much more boring than that stretch from holes 4 through 9.

For the price and the condition I don’t think you can beat it. I’ve played there twice and I legitimately can’t remember a single hole on the back 9.
