Pulling through isn't an option. If you are entering a parking space do you typically just pull in or do you back in?

Back in 99.9% of the time.

Not going with 99% of the time, but it is definitely my preferred method.

Whatever gets me in quickest. So typically just pull in and go.

The only place I don't back in is at the parking garage at work, because the spaces are slanted in the direction you're driving, if that makes sense.

When I had a car it didn't matter what I did but now that I have a truck backing in is much easier and the preferred option.

Never. But I rarely go anywhere but the grocery store that has grid parking. Downtown parking tends to be angled and I parallel park on the street a lot.

Normally try to back in if I'm in my truck. Probably pull in head first if I'm in my wife's car.

Back in when I can , makes it easier and safer when pulling out ... with a lot of parking lots the rows are so close it seems you have to maneuver so much just to get out ... my wife says it’s a man thing ?? Could be ..

I am slowing starting to back in more often. I tend to in our parking garage now (not slanted) because people fly through there and its tough to see them before you get backed out a certain extent.

 

I'll park further away if it means I can pull through.

I always try and back in, in fact if I don't, my wife says I'm surprised you pulled in. Where my son works they are required to back in the parking spaces.

In the car - Pull in

 

In the truck - Back in.

I almost always pull in.

Depends on a variety of things, some of which I have no idea why they matter to me.

 

At work - I always park with my car facing the building. On one side of the lot that means pulling in and on the other side it means backing in. No idea why I do that but I guess subconsciously I think it is because the cameras are on the building so the front of my car can always be seen.

 

Basketball games at NKU - Back in because I know when leaving it will be easier to pull straight out.

 

Other times - Just whatever I'm feeling at the time.

 

Baseball games at Dixie - Pull in because I know the lot will be empty (or nearly empty) when I leave so I can back out quickly with no issue.
