October 26, 200619 yr In the past UK has struggled coming off of an open date, or any date for that matter, but will manage to get past the Bulldogs 17 - 14 and will keep the bowl hopes alive.
October 27, 200619 yr This game is an important one for Brooks and the team. The Cats definitely need this game in order to go to a bowl in my opinion. I see them coming out hungry for this game after the poor showing against LSU and winning by 10.
October 27, 200619 yr I haven't seen a line all week that didn't have UK favored, although the line has gotten much closer. We'll have a good idea at about 5:30 eastern time whether or not you can find something else to do with that Bowl Money Jar we all have sitting on the kitchen window sill. We can't assure ourselves a bowl spot with a win, but we can assure ourselves of NOT HAVING a bowl spot with a loss.

October 28, 200619 yr I just heard the Big O talk about how a 6-6 record would not put UK in a bowl unless the SEC got two teams in the BCS. That makes this game even more important and the loss to SC may have really hurt them. They must win today against MSU. They must beat Vandy (not going to be easy) and UL-M (should win this one). They will also have to beat either UGA or TENN. This makes the bowl chances a little more tougher.
