March 6, 20188 yr Passed on all of it. I just can't relate to the people, most of the movies or the need to place social commentary after being honored. Just give thanks, say thanks and move along.

March 8, 20188 yr The boys and I loved "The Greatest Showman". The performance of This is Me was great. I wish it would have won for Best Song. Loved that movie! I really liked a bunch of the songs...A Million Dreams, The Other Side, From Now On, This is Me, Rewrite the Stars...probably in that order...just a lot of great songs in that movie IMO...
March 8, 20188 yr Too many award shows. No blockbuster movies. Trend is that ratings for live shows are declining. People are tired of the political shtick of actors and athletes. Too many other entertainment options on other platforms. Too long and not really that entertaining.

I think many (me included) just get sick of an industry that has SO MANY award shows to tell each other how great they are...the political stuff bugs me too...I just don't care what actors and athletes think about politics in general...and I firmly believe all actors and athletes have a right to say what they want regarding politics but I have a right to not care nor listen...
