I don't want to live in a world where Corporations decide what we can and can't do...

The issue isn't that they decided not to carry the scary looking guns. The issue is that they have declared they won't sell other guns to those that can legally purchase them.

Correct.

The issue shifted to age once the idea that you could just go somewhere else to buy a gun was brought up.... NOW they are upset about the age.

For those who haven’t been to Dicks in a half decade...

Assault-style weapon sales ended at Dick's-branded stores after the Newtown, Conn. school shooting in 2012. But the company was still selling them at its 35 Field & Stream locations, which specialize in hunting and outdoors products.

Who was upset they stop selling them?

Exactly... What are you suing them for?

If I go to Enterprise at 21 and they won't rent me a car until I'm 25, can I sue them? Or should I just go to Budget where I can rent one at 21?

Again, you could say the same thing if Enterprise did not rent cars to black people or women or Muslims...just go to Budget since they do. You cannot discriminate for race, religion, sex or age...

No, in their actual Dicks stores all they have is shotguns and .22’s. Been that way forever in Cincy at least.

Pretty sure they sell large caliber rifles as well. At least the ones here do.

So you're saying I can sue the rental car company... Why don't more people do that?

Again, Dicks stopped back in 2012-2013. They just wanted free advertising today.

Yes. And I’ve referenced that several times in the other thread. This announcement really only affects the Field & Stream stores. So yes, the way they put it, makes it sound bigger than it really is.

Thank you.

18 to 21 and the refusal to sell certain clips and bump stocks is a big deal.

So you're saying I can sue the rental car company... Why don't more people do that?

Not sure...will be interesting to see if people do...

You got a million bucks out there somewhere :lol2:

Have you been on social media at all today?

I'm sayin... I may be headed to the airport to file me a lawsuit tonight!

That’s true I forgot those.
