February 21, 20188 yr That is as well as the Cats have played this year along with the game at WVU. Agreed. Better than WVU IMO. Excellent defense tonight. That looked like a Cal defense. When no haters post in the game thread you know UK played well.
February 21, 20188 yr A very quality win for the Cats tonight. Saw a lot of good things from them. Very balanced scoring for the Cats tonight. Knox is moving so much better without the ball. Vanderbilt seems to just keep getting better. Love his energy. "Be Rodman".

February 21, 20188 yr After spotting Arkansas an 11-0 lead they outscore the Hogs 87-61, wow! I've been saying the last 2 weeks that the Cats play much better when Diallo is on the bench. Vanderbilt is finally finding his place on this team, being a rebounder and getting points when they are there for the taking.

February 21, 20188 yr Much better effort. Glad to see the young CATS maintain composure down the stretch.
February 21, 20188 yr Hmmm can it be That Coach Cal seems to be getting this young team close to playing it's best. The closer we get to the end of the year? It seems like we have heard this may happen. Still not a finished product but definitely starting to show positive signs that they are getting there.
February 21, 20188 yr A certain poster is trying to figure out how Cal got outcoached tonight. His time would be better spent trying to understand 56-38 and 49-17.
February 21, 20188 yr This was the effort that we've all been looking for from this U.K. team. To have fallen down 11-0 out of the gate and hold it together on the road and at Bud Walton at that .....and make 26pt. turnaround is beyond impressive. U.K. after the f'irst 3-4 min. played lock down defense, especially in the 2nd half. UA had only one 3 pointer in the 2nd half. Offensively was the same story, a Total Team Win ! Moving w/o the ball, passing / hitting the open man, screening and aside from the opening minutes the Cats dominated the boards. I don't want to single out one or two players bc All played well and contributed something. Now lets see if we can see another great effort on Sat. vs. Mizzou.
February 21, 20188 yr Excellent win for the Cats, and one I certainly didn't expect. Knox was awesome, SGA did his thing, and I loved Vanderbilt's performance. Really enjoyed the ball movement too.
