I wonder how many teams have been top 5 in their class and finished third in their district? My Eagles wont know what hit them....

To be your Eagles you sure dont have much faith in them. You have picked them to lose in every thread you have posted except the Paintsville game. Picking LC over JC in week 5 told me all I need to know.

I like Mason in this game. I think that overall they seem to be a better tackling team then Ashland . If you shut Grimm down then there isnt to much there - no disrespect to the BIG fullback.

See that was the beauty with the JC/Ashland game. I thought that JC would have to use all its weapons and instead ran Grimm which was enough to get the job done. Believe me, you didnt see half the offensive potential of JC in that game. You key Grimm hard, the other backs will beat you. Mason is a good solid defense and if they hold the offense of JC to under 35 points, then they will definately get their props from me.

I cant wait to get there. So we are looking at about a 2 hour trip or so.

It's probably faster to go up AA...take US 23 North....to I 64 West to Grayson exit...turn left at the exit....left at the light onto AA....go 26 miles....road ends...turn left...Takes you all the way to Maysville....less than 2 hours.....

That will probably be the way I go as well. JC has been really lucky this year to have only 2 real far trips.

FYI... you need to turn right off of the Grayson exit of I 64. Go about 1/4 mile or so and turn left onto the AA Highway. If you go left, you will be in downtown Grayson. Hope that helps.

Guys, I've made this trip a couple times this year. 60 is not a bad road and 519 into morehead is great now. 32 is a striaght shot to Flemingsburg and 11 is another straigt shot to Maysville. I've ionclude a link to map quest that has this mapped out for ya. I've been both ways and I believe it's fast and easier to go up 460

Really? When I was going to Fort Thomas this summer I usually done a pretty good speed and never was pulled. Only seen 1 State Trooper the whole time I traveled the road. What I like about the road, although it is mostly one lane each direction, is that you have plenty of long straight stretches that allow for easy passing. I usually made it to Maysville in 1 hour and 45 minutes to 2 hours.

One thing I was glad to see last friday night was the JC played in the 1st half. They came out and hit Ashland in the mouth early. Usually JC is a 2nd half team. They have to come out in the 1st half like they did against Ashland.

 

And for all those worrying about a let down in this game, it wont happen. If you cant get motivated to win... you dont need to be playing the game. Expecially if it is for the district title and home field play-off advantage.

Go ahead and stop Grim! Easier said that done. Since after week one teams have geared their D to stop Grim. It hasn't happened. If Mason does stop Grim than that's allright the Eagles have a great FB and another great RB in Richardson.

 

Last yr. Mason tried to stop Blume and what did he do? Over 200 yds. if I remember correctly. Grim is a much better back overall I believe. But I am sure that Mason will be ready. It will be an interesting game to say the least.
