Johnson Central/Mason County predictions

Featured Replies

Those scores are comparable defensivley, 38-40
Excellent point, Eagle Pride. I would add another pair of scores for the common opponents of Lafayette and Henry Clay to xyience's list:

21 Lafayette (9-0)

6 Mason County (7-2)

25 Lafayette (9-0)

13 Henry Clay (9-1)

Johnson Central fans who assume that they are going to Maysville to watch the Golden Eagles rout the Royals may be in for a big surprise. Worse yet, fans who stay home because they think that the Eagles are a lock to win the game may regret not making the trip to support their team. Mason County has a solid defense and if Johnson Central does not prepare for this game the way that it did for Ashland, the Golden Eagles could find themselves making the trip to Maysville two weeks in a row.

This game will be a good one. Mason County has an excellent team and could beat JC if they don't come prepared. Coach Matney and his staff have done an outstanding job this season I think they will be ready

Good Luck Eagles!!

The players are not overlooking them my brother said that alot of the players were more worried of Mason than they were Ashland. They will prepare this week and be ready for Mason

Thats good to hear.:thumb: Id like to see us take us many fans that Mason has there. Make it sort of a home away from home.

JC will continue to roll in this one.

Ill sure be there.. It will only be an Hour away for me...

The Eagles had better come back to earth this wk. Mason is scary and they have a ton of athletic ability at the skill positions. One drop away from this game being for the district championship if I do say so.

Theguru closed the JC vs. Ashland thread... which was a great thing. The week 10 game against Ashland is over. Now ALL JC fans need to look forward to the trip to Maysville. Everybody that was there friday night wearing black and gold needs to make the trip.

The Eagles need to come out fired-up and ready to play in this one. A loss here and they are pushed back to 3rd in the district and on the road in the playoffs.

Mason has some great athletes and I know they'll be ready.

I would like to see J.K. Ratliff throw the ball more. He had some great passes last friday night. Chris Meeks had the best catch I have seen a JC reciever make since Heath Castle was playing. Tommy Taylor and Nathaniel Dials were thrown to, but couldnt come up with the recpetion.

Johnson Central has won all their games with the "ground 'n pound" offense. This being the biggest game of the year, I dont see Matney making any changes.

Everybody should already know this, but for those who dont... here are the games for week 11 in district 8.

Johnson Central (4-0) @ Mason County (3-1)

Boyd County (2-2) @ Ashland (3-1)

Greenup County (0-4) @ Lawrence County (0-4)

Who did Mason lose too?

Seriously Lawrence has lost all 4?

Mason lost to Ashland.

If you remember during the Greenup County game, the score of Mason County vs. Ashland game was announced twice.

Dino how can you say Mason County has a solid defense when they have given up 105 points and Johnson Central has only given up 79 points. To me it looks like JC has the better defense.
