Johnson Central/Mason County predictions

Featured Replies

Mason Co. will be exteamly fired up for this one. There is also the weather factor. I feel Johnson Central is looking past Mason. Mason Co. is at home and it will be the seniors last game there. The situation is right. Thirty-five points or one point, this is the upset of the season.

I want some of what ever it is you are having:sssh:

I feel that there might be soemthing in the air starting to brew, but it ain't a 35 point win:cool:

Xyience, Ashland beat Greenup 35-0, and Ashland only beat Mason by a td. I think Mason just plays better when facing better competition like Frankfort, Ashland, Lafayette, and hopefully your Eagles.

No matter the field situation, JC will be ready. What kind of parking situation does Mason County have?

There are several entrances to the field, but the easiest way is to turn right into the first front entrance of the high school from US 68. The road will bear left with the high school (easy to spot because of the basketball gym) on the left and the tennis courts on the right. Go past the right-hand turn that goes up to the middle school and stay left of the track (Mason County has a smaller-than regulation track that's next to the old bus repair garage on the right; their track does not encircle the football field); you will go up a short hill and into the football parking lot. If you arrive by 6:45 or so there should be plenty of spots available. LOTS of places to eat in Maysville, I don't think anyone here actually eats at home. Many of them are close to the campus.

If you happen to arrive late and the football lot is full, you can park up at the middle school or behind the elementary school. Some folks park in the grass off the lanes that wind through the campus, but I wouldn't advise it if it's real wet.

Let's hope for a great game!

Do any of your restaurants stay open past 9pm? LOL Is there a wide variety?

That might be the case. We will just have to wait and see.

No they don't and we roll up the sidewalks at dusk so be there early:rolleyes:

Correct me if i'm wrong here, but only one back can carry the ball at a time right?

So if they stop Grim then they stop the running game period? Right?

Unless these other two are better then Grim?

So, I would be pumping up the WR, becuase it seems to me if they stop the ground game then this game could come down the WR and QB.

Hold up there bub! You have to be kidding me! JCHS has a lot more weapons on the ground than Grim. Blake Johnson is an all-state fullback from last yr. Richardson, Welch, and Dillion are also great runners. Obviously you haven't seen this team play!

Make no mistake my friend the WR's and QB are also great players. Come on down and watch sometime.

Here is a little something to discuss... Johnson Central has a scoring pattern.

North Laurel 40-6

South Point, OH 35-7

Logan, WV 35-8

Bryan Station 38-14

Lawrence County 55-12

Boyd County 63-12

Paintsville 56-6

Greenup County 49-7

Ashland Blazer 35-7

So if this "pattern" holds true, the score should be something around 35-8 in favor of Johnson Central.

Sit-down:

Applebee's

DeSha's

Bob Evans

Tumbleweed

Laredo's

Ponderosa

Caproni's

Buffalo Trace Wild Wings

Mi Camino Real

Frisch's

Golden Dragon

China Garden

Pasquale's

Fast Food

Penn Station

Arby's

Burger King

Domino's

Gold Star

Greg's Pizza

Hardee's

Lee's Famous Recipe

Long John's

McDonald's

Rally's

Subway

Taco Bell

Wendy's

Pizza Hut

Little Caesar's

With any luck, you can catch one or two of these places open after the game. All, with the exception of Pasquales (just down US 68 before you get to the bottom of the hill; and it's very easy to find) and Dominos are on top of the hill - not downtown; and are close to the school.

I probably missed one or two but that's a fairly complete list.

Thanks for the list. I know alot of JC fans that love to eat. So that drive to Maysville is looking even better.

Better get some grub while you're in town.

If you drive back through Morehead, your options are limited after 10:00.

If you drive back via the AA Highway (Grayson), your options aren't any better.
