35 point spread seperating Mason from JC!? Im looking for Mason to give the Eagles a good game and its not unfathonable the Royals will win this game....but 35?....c'mon.

That's a bit more like it....a win is a win whether 1 or 35. At the risk of speaking for the Tomcats, we would love to see Mason pull it off...it would be an upset, but not too sure if it would be of Biblical proportions.

 

Hope the Royals and T-Cats both take care of business this Friday.

I look for Central to put the Royals away early.

IMO it won't be that close of a game.

Mason shutout Greenup, while Central gave up a score... What are you saying ??

 

 

JC has given up many scores this year late in the game against the 2nd string, just as against Greenup, but the starting defense has been very solid this year allowing less than a touchdown a game on average.

I believe the word your looking for is FLOAT.

This Mason Co team could give the Eagles a lot better game than they received last week against Ashland and if they let their guard down could be in for a tough fight at Maysville, but I still see the Eagles winning.

I see no way that this JC team could have a let down for this game with all that is on the line in this one. If JC wins, they have home field throughout the playoffs as long as they can win. They lose, they are going to be on the road for the majority of the playoffs. The same applies to Mason. This game should be full of intensity and hard hitting. The field will be muddy so it should be a low scoring game. Both teams have solid defenses and this one may come down to whichever teams has the lowest amount of turnovers. Due to the recent forecast, Im changing my prediction and anticipate a hard fought game of two very solid teams. My prediction:

 

Johnson Central: 28

Mason Co.: 14

I just watched the local weather forcast here and it says on and off rain from now till Saturday.Unfortunately it also said moderate to heavy rain tomm afternoon.

I'm not sure I agree with you. Central's strength in the running game is outside the tackles. From the sound of the forecast, it's not going to be easy for the RB's to make cuts.

 

Though I think a sloppy field hurts Central more than Mason, I still believe the Eagles should win this game by 2 or 3 TD's (on a dry field, I'd pick them by more).

I would say last year that was the case but not this year. Case in point...last Friday against Ashland Grimm gained major yards between the tackles. Actually, most of his runs were between the tackles.

Someone should designate a meeting place and time for some of the BGPers to meet. I would love to meet some of you guys.
