Class? The best display of class I've seen this year was when Ashland fans stormed the field(prematurely) during the Russell game with a headless mannequin with silver/flake underwear. Wait,, maybe lack of class is a better term.

He cant seem to understand that. He thinks that Ashland has all the class in the world. Anyone who would have a T-shirt made up to make fun off a bunch of last years situation shows absolutely no class and just ignited the fire that JC left Putnam with last year even more. Maybe thats why the Tomcats were dominated in every fascet of the game. All the other Ashland posters found it clever and funny but he is the only one having a hard time with it.

You got that right I would be willing to bet had Russell won the fans would not have storm the field we would leave and celebrate our victory like a true champ. Same way if it was played at Russell and we would have won.

It seems GIAT is not dead. He's busy posting on the "Ashland vs Huntington game cancelled" thread. He's even posted his prediction on the upcoming Ashland vs Boyd thread.

Dont expect him to show his face on this thread. He cant seem to muster up a congrats to the Eagles then thats fine. Seems like that "confidently quite" tactic that one poster used in reference to no one posting in the predictions thread was just to avoid what many knew to be true.

Ive tried to keep up with all the JC fans posting and it is crazy, I realize it was a big win but wow you guys are going crazy, I bet some of you have posted 20 times alone in this thread. I get the feeling that some of you dont much like Ashland or atleast they have been on top so long that it feels like a mil getting them. You guys are also getting a little to taken with Westsider, he often raises my brow with a post I dont agree with about Mayfield but to his credit he is just calling'em like he see it and he try's to do so unbiased. He is not against anyone really and I dont think he has a favorite team he just loves KY HS football.

As for JC's win congrats, I think I know what made it all possible, it is the work of Eddie Blair developing these kids fundamentals, great work Ed keep of the hard work

Toothpick you are right on the money my friend. Yes Coach Matney is great and he's doing a phenomenal job, but our old buddy Eddie Blair definitely deserves some credit in helping get these young men ready to play over at the big house.

I will say that J.C. beat us at every part of the game last night. Now both teams must finish the regular season if all goes well we will be back in a few weeks. I've seen a lot of post about the P.A. all I can say is I wish we had him at Ashland to excite us. I'm suprised that with 5 pages about the game it has not been to bad all we need to do is remember its only a game.

In the many years that I have followed BGP, the Ashland fans' (at least the more vocal ones) organized boycott of the pregame thread was the only one of its kind that I can recall ever seeing. I give GIAT an "A" for originality if nothing else.:thumb:

Good luck next week, marooncat. I think that Ashland and Johnson Central are the two best teams in the district and hope neither gets upset next week. Whoever emerges as the district champion, I will be supporting them in the regional title game. I hope that the Tomcats' fans will do the same, along with all of the other teams who are eliminated short of winning the district.

I attended the Russell game. During the Russell game they announced the half time score Johnson Central 21, Ashland 0. This huge cheer from the Russell fans was heard. I could never understand why Russell fans would not pull for Ashland.

 

Well I understand now after reading some of the posts in this thread alone. Everyone has fans that are self serving and feel that they have a right to say anything they want at anytime. I loved listening to the JC, Ashland game on the radio and Dicky Martin. All that ended tonight after reading this thread.
