Missouri 69 Kentucky 60

Featured Replies

The loss isn't that big of a deal. Missouri is a good team and Kentucky is their Super Bowl at home.

I am a little concerned about John Calipari's comments after the game. He said he has some players who still refuse to pass to open teammates. That's not a great sign in February.

Wildly inconsistent as we all know at this point. Ugly.

Are we allowed to question the coaching, or is it the players aren’t listening to him? Without a susperstar who can put the ball in the hole, Cal seems to struggle for some reason.

If that's the case; then Bill Self, Coach K, Roy Williams and several other big name coaches struggle in this situation, too.

That was tough to watch. A cluttered mess. The biggest difference in how the pro and college games are different is spacing. They simply have no concept of it, and UK on offense is a prime example of it.

Unless Auburn collapses, the best UK can hope for is finishing second in the SEC. The loss that’s going to come back and haunt them is the Florida game.

On the bright side the help defense is much improved and getting better. Bad news is they are still easily taken off the dribble... especially Hami.

This is the kind of season where you just need to get in the tournament. It doesn't matter if you're a 1-seed or a 9-seed. You just need to get in and get hot at the right time.

The high end 10 loss Tubby group isn’t his game. Mack, Mick and Holtmann are ahead of him his year with much less talent for crying out loud.

The season UK is having shows both the beauty and the absurdity of the NCAA Tournament. UK has underachieved most of the year and will most likely limp into the Big Dance as a 6-10 seed. However, if they make a decent run in the Tournament (Elite 8 or Final 4), all will be forgiven and Cal will be considered a great coach again...it is a shame that so much is based on a team's performance in the Tournament...but is also why the Tournament is so fun to watch...

UK is fine. As of today, they rank 16 in RPI and have a POM rank of 30. Last year that would have gotten them a 5 to 7 seed. The rest of the SEC is actually helping them this year.

As far as though wanting Coach O back, unlike the other members of Coach Cal's tree that failed as head coaches, his was associated with NCAA violations. Just might want to see, how much of a hit his rep took. I really like Antiqua but I would prefer to see how much Illinois improves with him recruiting for them over the next seasons or two before bringing him back to Lexington.

This is false. Kentucky is easily in the field. They would have to lose out to not make the tournament at this point.

Potentially 4 losses coming, maybe 5 if they lose to Missouri again. 1 win vs top 25 team. Thats not a good resume.

And they are still 100% in.

Bad loss, Flordia lossing makes it worse. UK has to play in SEC Championship game to get in IMO at this point, unless they pull of a few surprises.
