He brought the players down at school today and told them he was gone. Heard he received an interesting reaction and I'll leave it at that. We all (as in parents of players) received an email from him that he was accepting the NCC job as well.

Asking Camel fans, what is the real truth to Lickert leaving CCH?

 

What makes anyone EVER assume that a "fan" would know or say the "real truth" about a coach leaving ? This makes zero sense.

 

But, glad to see that you have left the NCC bashing for a bit and are making an attempt at bonding with the county fans....

Never heard of this guy before, but after the shock of Lickert leaving the way he did I was hoping for someone close to program to take over.

I know he's been frustrated about being overlooked for administrator positions within CCPS. I saw somewhere that CCPS won't allow admins to be head coach at their schools. Well, now he's not a head coach at one of their schools...or at any public school, for that matter. Makes it easier for him to look for an admin job within TRS, seeing as he's tenured educator and all.
