Could this game have a bigger crowd than last years apple bowl?

The game last year is like the UK vs. Duke game where Latner hit the turn-around shot to win the game. That game happened along time ago... but every time it is shown on espn I personally get sick watching it. That is the way I feel about the game last year. JC lost, nobody can change that. But that still doesnt mean that a bad taste wasn't left in JC's mouths.

don't think tnat acouple of post about a t-shirts or mud cleats is trying to divert from the task at hand at all, just having some good hearted fun I think. It seems to me that the Tomcat faithful not talking about the game itself yet, key word is YET:eek: is just what I sid. A quiet confidence and just nor running their mouth with predictions like a lot of JC folk on here are doing. I have enjoyed you rpost on here Eagle,as I said before I a Raceland fan the core and am just trying to look at it from the aspect of it should be one heck of a h.s. football game. If my Ramblers weren't visiting the arch rival Fairview crew this friday I would pick this game to attend.

Well good luck this Friday with Fairview... you need to come down sometime and catch a game, espically if we get the new sports complex that they have been saying we are going to get for next year. :thumb:

I think it left a bad taste in everyone's mouth xyience... hopefully this year it will be different for us Eagle supporter's. We just need to forget about last year and get ready for Friday night.

I wouldn't say that it couldn't be more than a two-touchdown game. Johnson Central is clearly a good team ... how good is very difficult to determine because of the soft schedule.

 

And I'm not convinced that Ashland is a top-10 team, either. I know they realigned some things after the Raceland game and beat Belfry and Russell in overtime, but a top-10 team in 3A shouldn't lose to Raceland, period.

I have the upmost respect for Ashland's players, coaches, etc. as do most of the people that post on this board. Just sometimes the excitment of a big game and the season the Eagles are having tends to blind some of us Eagle supporters, and I am as guilty as the rest. With that said I think we all respect the Tomcats and we know how good of a football team they really are... we are just a little biased toward the Eagles.

I would think a close game favors Ashland because of their schedule. If it does end up being more than 2-3 touchdowns, I can't wait to hear the rigamarole in the week after, about the reason why they got trounced.

Checking the weather for friday night... http://www.weather.com is giving that we will have pm showers friday night with a temperature of around 50 degrees. Should be a good night for football, hopefully JC's field will hold up.
