While I am sure that JC has a great defense and their stats back that up, I also feel that Ashland is very capable of scoring 28 points. I would not under estimate the Ashland defense. From the games I have watched their D is one of their strong points. I also give the edge to Ashland on special teams play. Special teams could play a huge roll as you are well aware of from last years performance!! Like I stated earlier, I have not watched JC but have seen Ashland and if JC doens't take them serious it could be a long night in Johnson Co.

Central's special teams are quite solid as well. That's probably the most improved unit on the team since last season.

You are right about that, the kicking game has really improved espically on kickoff's. Barrett has done a great job of kicking the ball deep on kickoff's.

I have the upmost respect for Ashland's players, coaches, etc. as do most of the people that post on this board. Just sometimes the excitment of a big game and the season the Eagles are having tends to blind some of us Eagle supporters, and I am as guilty as the rest. With that said I think we all respect the Tomcats and we know how good of a football team they really are... we are just a little biased toward the Eagles. :D

:thumb: Good post!! I think all fans are biased toward their program, it is human nature. Nothing wrong with showing your suport as long as it is done respectfully. We as fans represent the kids that sacrifice everything to play the great game of high school football and could learn some valuable lessons from the character that these kids showcase.

:thumb: :thumb: Great post and comment eagle'01, I am a hard core Raceland fan and can be bias about my Rams at times also. I think all fans do that to some extent. I try and keep in reasonable though even through my orange tinted glasses.:D

 Just hope that the JC offense will not be "shooting blanks" vs. the Tomcats Friday night.:D

The most points central has givin upin a single game all year is 14. I dont see Ashland scoring 28 points.
Ashland may not score 28, but they are undoubtedly the best team Johnson Central has faced so far this season.

Trust me... the "45" is cocked and loaded :flame:

Johnson Central 28-14.

Trust me... the "45" is cocked and loaded :flame:

And I would think that I am safe in saying so is Ashland's.:D

And if you read some earlier post I think you will see that it has been pointed out that Ashland is by far the best team they will have faced this season. :thumb:
