The t-shirt's that Ashland is making for this game in my pinion is making fun of JC. Paintsville made a top 10 list for the apple bowl that made fun of alot of JC players and students, and lets just say JC came to play that night.

This is quickly turning into one of the best rivalries in the state. Both sides have great fans, good programs and supporters who have the ability to talk a little smack (some better than others). I can't wait to watch these two teams square off.

 

I just hope the JC fans get there early. It would be a shame for Ashland fans to get all the good seats...lol.

The T-Shirts are not making fun of JC. Some of the Ashland fans are just taking advantage of the opportunity to fire a shot across Johnson Central bow. Actually, I think it is rather clever.

I will say this, I am pretty sure the JC team won't need any t-shirt to be ready to play. They know what is on the line and I don't think for a moment that they will be overconfident. They will come ready to play the game one play at a time.

JMO, but I feel that Johnson Central really lays it to the Tomcats pretty thick in this one.

 

I may ahve to eat crow, even though I am neutral on this, but I say the Eagles take it by at least 4 TD.

You're right they aren't running their mouths about the game... the only post from Ashland fans on here have been about mud cleats and the selling of wide-right T-shirts. Even though the shirts weren't brought up in this thread. So they are saying stuff just not about what they should be talking about, the game.

don't think tnat acouple of post about a t-shirts or mud cleats is trying to divert from the task at hand at all, just having some good hearted fun I think. It seems to me that the Tomcat faithful not talking about the game itself yet, key word is YET:eek: is just what I sid. A quiet confidence and just nor running their mouth with predictions like a lot of JC folk on here are doing. I have enjoyed you rpost on here Eagle,as I said before I a Raceland fan the core and am just trying to look at it from the aspect of it should be one heck of a h.s. football game. If my Ramblers weren't visiting the arch rival Fairview crew this friday I would pick this game to attend.

As Johnson Central fans, we need to leave last year's game exactly where it is...in the past. We are starting to sound like a bunch of whining grade school kids by continually talking about last year's game. Whether the kick was good or not is irrelevant. The official said it was wide so it was wide.

It is never any fun when your team doesn't win!! I wasn't at the game last year so i do not know what you are referring to and really do not need to know. Last year is past and this year begins a new adventure. Never forget the past, but living in it will destroy ones structure.

This game is all about the kids and as I stated earlier we as fans should keep that in mind.

Trust me xyience, Ashland is MUCH better than Paintsville this year so that comparison holds no water. Paintsville imo was overpowered at every aspect odf the game by a much better JC team . JC may very well be better than the Tomcats, I don't know but it would shock me to see a mismatch like your game with the Tigers.

:thumb: :thumb: Great post ITL, NO ONE can go foward by looking in the rear view mirror. Not all JC fans are sounding like that though, I believe just a few that are crying:cry: :cry: the most are drowning out the reasonable ones.
