Why would you say this about about the JC fans. I don't think any on here have made a fool of themselves or the JC fans. We are just using BGP the way it is supposed to be used, discussing who we think will win the game and why... No JC fan has done anything wrong on here besides supporting the Eagles.

I tell you why I said it. I've never seen so much baloney spread about this game this week all over the internet and it's been mostly from our fans. Would I love you see a JC blow out? Darn right I do but I also have enough sense to know that this game will be a war just like last years was. No matter how much jargon is spread on here about the game our boy's and Ashland's boy's still have to play the game. Games are not won on message boards and the one's that are making these boastful comments have NOTHING to do with the team. I don't mean to offend my fellow Eagle fans but this is the biggest game of our season and quite possibly the biggest in our programs history and we need to let our players and staff do the talking on the field Friday night. If we win the next two weeks we will be playing at home through out the playoffs and the last thing we need is one of our fans posting bulletin board material on here for other teams to use. Once again I don't want any Eagle fans upset at me because we all want the best for our football program but we need understand that the road's only going to get tougher from here on out and we need to stay focused on the task at hand. Some of the players told me at school the other day that the players were told by Coach Matney and his staff after the Greenup game in the post game huddle to keep there mouth shut and do there talking on the field and I feel with the exception of one member posting post game comments this has been accomplished. Once again guys I don't want any hard feelings because we all want the same thing and that's a Golden Eagle victory Friday night. Go Eagles!

I understand what your saying Czar but the boys will come ready to play Friday night no matter what is said on this board.

But I do agree with you 100% on the Go Eagles!!! part.

For the most part some of our own JC fans while thinking they are supporting the Eagles have really done nothing more than make themselves look like complete idiots and have only in my opinion embarrassed the whole school system by constantly rattling on and on and on about mostly nothing. xyience you have done far more damage to the Golden Eagles this whole season than you could ever have dreamed of helping them. Hey for one time act like you have traveled out of the hollow before. Where in the heck do you come up with all the garbage you post on here? Oldrambler , you can talk till your blue in the face to westsider. If Raceland was to have beaten Trinity you still would not get any respect. Some way or another he would try to come up with some logic that Raceland was still unworthy of any ranking. He seems to really get off on this stuff. Now you know it feels to be "westsided". As I said in a thread the other day, the best thing for anyone to do is to completely ignore anything that he posts, because it will be 100% negative against anything and anybody that lie east of I-75. Want to bet that he has not seen Raceland play this year, or bet that he at no time in his life ever seen Raceland play period? I would almost guarantee that he has never, ever at one point seen Johnson Central play at any sport as well. Yet he is still the all knowing expert. Some you guys need to learn the mentality that you are dealing with, in respect to how he feels about us eastern folk and his superiority complex concerning our knowledge of anything, and just plain ignore him and go on.

I agree, there are some really decent people in the mountains. Over excitement can get the best of anybody if they let it. I hope that the weather holds up and the fans have a great time. Eagles/Tomcats ....may the best win. :bunny:

The thing that bothers me is that a lot of eagle supporters usually talk about how they would do things different and how if we lose at anything the coach should be replaced. I have watched parents and other supporters make a mockery of themselves and the program but people just kind of shrug it off. Then I see people like xyience act excited about the program then he is looked at as a negative influence to the program. This is a discussion board I thought. Any people that read these posts should not let any comments affect any thoughts about the program they already had. I love to hear the exhuberance of the positive posters like xyience and others. Like all other posts on these discussions this is merely my opinion. In no way am I trying to be negative towards anyone but people should say what they want and not have to worry if they offended anyone especially if they are just saying what is in their heart for the program.

For those of you on here that dont follow the ufc here is something that you might find interesting... Matt Hughes, Anderson Silva, Sean Sherk, Chuck Liddell and Tim Sylvia are the champions in their weight classes. And they all use xyience. You cant go wrong with xyience! :thumb:

Now, now. The girl that sang The National Anthem against Greenup did more damage (to my ears, at least) than anything. Thank God we can play football. Ninety-five percent of the players don't read these posts, nor are they aware that Ashland posters have private-messaged each other and conspired to take Immodium ID for their mouths this week. Not sure what the psycology of that is all about, and don't care. Maybe God sent a swarm of locusts or something for believing that He is a tomcat. As we all know, Ashland goes overboard complimenting their players, coaches, broadcasters, etc. every week, basically talking to themselves. While I agree that there are some strange posts regarding JC and this game, it will have no effect come Friday night. If we get anywhere close to the 8,000 predicted fans in attendance, there won't be 10 BGPers there, so......

Eagleville is cold, but no rain so far today. We are under very couldy skies and some patchy fog. Hopefully those tarps on JC's field did their job this week.

Hopefully this is a good game, I want to see a great game between these two teams, and I am hoping Ashland pulls the "upset".
