July 27, 20188 yr I wish he would do more of the Oliver Stone/Camel Club series. Those were definitely his best books, but I still enjoy pretty much everything he does. I've only read his Will Robie & Amos Decker series. I'd definitely put the Camel Club series on your read list.
July 29, 20188 yr Did anyone like this??? I just finished it and wanted to throw it against the wall, just before putting it into the dumpster so that I wouldn't be tempted to lend it to anyone. Waaaayy over the top for me. Too much fiction, twists and turns, and imposed adventure. Too many side stories and way too much filler. Eight hours of my life I'll never get back. James Patterson simply using Bill Clinton as a shill to sell the book. While the plot was plausible, it felt like one giant chase scene, and I hate chase scenes. July 31, 20188 yr I read this on our flight down/back to Cabo for vacation: Hardcore History: The Extremely Unauthorized Story of ECW It's a pretty good read, for the wrestling fans on the site; Tells a lot of good stories how ECW tried to take on WCW and WWF/WWE. I'm kind of amazed they lasted as long as they did, basically surviving paycheck to paycheck to keep the company afloat.
