Thought the ground couldn't cause a fumble, and when the ball crosses the plane of the goal, the play is over??

Two things IMO could have changed the outcome here.... One is having AB, the other was to double Gronk. Neither happened.

Once Ben first read was not there, you must throw it away. He absolutely got greedy and it costs them BIG time.
