December 5, 20178 yr When you look at the penalty yards keep in mind that there were 2 PI calls that were 35+ yards down field so that's over 70 yards in penalties on 2 plays. Both of them were bogus calls too.
December 5, 20178 yr I think the game being played the way it was caused two of the best receivers in football to drop passes they normally wouldn’t and LaFell dropped a huge pass in the second half as well and you could see him turning his head before he caught it. Also think that on Bell’s touchdown pass, Evans was afraid to hit him for fear of getting a personal foul thinking he was stepping out of bounds A couple of things I did enjoy last night as a football fan since everything has dwelled on the negative as it should have. Bell is a stud and I love watching him run. Bernard is one tough hombre and the offensive line may actually be getting better for the Bengals. Lastly the officiating was awful both ways and the NFL should not put this game in prime time for a while.
December 5, 20178 yr One good thing that came from the game, Marv is done at the end of year. No he's not.

Evans got juked by the NFL's best RB and just couldn't get there after that.

I think you are correct but the big difference is Bengals dropped the passes and Brown and the Steelers did not.
December 5, 20178 yr No he's not. I think he is. I honestly think he was going to walk away after this season no matter how it went. I think he just looks about done too.
December 5, 20178 yr I think you are correct but the big difference is Bengals dropped the passes and Brown and the Steelers did not. Brown had a few drops last night. Problem is he made the catch that they had to have.
December 5, 20178 yr On a positive note, it was good to see the Covington Holy Cross football team recognized for community service. They were invited down to PBS for a Saturday Bengals practice on 11/25. The event was filmed and shown on the Monday Night Countdown pregame show about 31 minutes in. I even thought they got my best side! Holy Cross actually won something this year. Just kidding. I like how ESPN does little segments like that.
December 5, 20178 yr If Mike Brown wants to send a bold message to the fans, he'll fire Marvin Lewis TODAY. He won't though and may not even do it in 26 days either.

This is a huge pet peeve of mine. Anyone that has used gloves know they are extremely slick when wet. It drives me insane. AB appeared to have the same issue.

Oh okay, I thought you meant he would be fired. I don't think that would happen. I hope you are right about him just walking off into the sunset... or the Atlantic Ocean.
December 5, 20178 yr Did I hear correctly? A comment made from the Steelers' locker room about it being "Karma" that Burfict got laid out and carted off?
December 5, 20178 yr Did I hear correctly? A comment made from the Steelers' locker room about it being "Karma" that Burfict got laid out and carted off? Yes Brown said it. Remember the hit Burfict had on Brown last year?
December 5, 20178 yr Did I hear correctly? A comment made from the Steelers' locker room about it being "Karma" that Burfict got laid out and carted off? Yep. Completely classless especially in light of a player on his own team who suffered a very serious spinal injury. There are some on here who are ok with the celebration of Burficts injury from the Steelers. Completely classless.
December 5, 20178 yr Did I hear correctly? A comment made from the Steelers' locker room about it being "Karma" that Burfict got laid out and carted off? After what happened to Shazier earlier in the game, you'd think these idiots would tone it down a bit.
