The catch by A. Brown in the end zone was amazing. Can't ever question Brown's toughness after holding on to the ball on that play. THAT WAS TARGETING, why wasn't it called. It was an intensional dirty hit.

Vontaze Burfict is not sorry for the hit that concussed Antonio Brown near the end of Pittsburgh's 2015 wild card victory over Cincinnati.

Instead of showing remorse for the hit that knocked Brown out of the Steelers' divisional round game against the Broncos, Burfict said that Brown faked the injury after the Bengals' embattled linebacker decked him in the final minute of one of the nastiest games ever played.

"He faked it," Burfict recently told ESPN. "I feel like he looked at me. The ball tipped off his hands and he kind of put his head towards my area, and I tried to fade off of him at the last second, but he initially tried to make contact because he knew he could get the flag. And just the way he went down, it was just like -- I don't know man."

Iloka's hit was almost exactly like the Jabrill Peppers hit on Malone last week. Peppers didn't even get suspended. If I were Iloka I would appeal, show the clips of those two hits and asked the NFL to explain why the different penalties.

It looked like he got a little more helmet t helmet to me than Peppers did. But either way he tried to take someone head in the first half as well but failed. I think it should have been 2. I wouldn't really care if they suspended him the whole season because the Bengals season is over anyways. The last thing I want is them to make it to 7-9, 8-8.

Moving on to other game related topics, the stats might not be as good as some of his other games but that game ranks right up there with the best games I have ever seen Andy Dalton play. He was on target all night and he blew up Steelers defensive calls all night long with quick reads and passes.

Andy played well last night and still has the longest current streak of attempted passes without an interception in the NFL. But in the second half there were 3 or 4 times where he just flat stared down AJ Green and the Steelers made a play on it. I wish he would learn to look off defenders, but he played at a high level last night and IMO outplayed Roethlisberger.

I said it at the time. Marvin should have gracefully stepped into the front office and let Zimmer take over. The players respected and trusted him. He was the Coughlin type that the group needed at the time.

It has been obvious for 15 years that Marvin is not going to run a tight ship. A team with an actual GM and ownership group may have seen the writing on the wall after the Palmer/Johnson/TJ era died and learned from the mistake. Once this group hit a plateau, like it did in the second half of 2015 through the embarrasing finish to that playoff game, they should have made the change. Losing your job after losing your 7th consecutive playoff game doesn't make your franchise a laughing stock. It shows that results matter. Lewis coached teams have repeatedly under-achieved in pressure games due to the culture of the locker room. It is a pattern of front-runner behavior and a TON of that has to do with a lack of discipline. Lack of discipline in execution, keep cool heads, and making key decisions. They would have been fine if he had been fired.
