Haven’t seen a thread for this game yet! I’m looking forward to traveling to KCD this Friday and seeing if the game will be much different than last year’s. Last year it was tight through halftime but Beechwood put the foot to the gas in the 2nd half and beat KCD by a final of 42-7. What could this year hold?

I am not sure I will go there. Beechwood has been crushing teams but Kentucky Country Day is senior dominated, has high level talent and has been focused on getting back to this game for a year. For what it is worth, calpreps has this game as a 31-21 Beechwood win.

This game wont be a running clock but Beechies should win by about 3 TDs.

I’m going with KCD in an upset on this one. Either way I don’t think it’s a blow out either. 27-24.

Common opponent was Frankfort. KCD 28-21, Beechwood 47-7, was 47-0 in the 2nd QTR

A table full of Beechwood football players at BDubs in ft Wright right now. I will go ask what they think of their chances this week

KCD needs to come out and score first to get them going in my opinion.They need to get a stop the first series on defense and control the clock and keep the Beechwood offense on the sideline.

 

Beechwood may start the game a little better this week after being on a bye the week before playing Frankfort.

 

This should be an exciting game..

Beechwood will be more challenged than what they have by anyone else in 1A they have played so far, but should still win pretty easily.

KCD issue will be depth. I look for this game to be close with Beechwood pulling away in second half. KCD just lacks the depth needed.
