The Rookie Leinart against that defense might be the one in shock. He never saw a defense like this at USC.

Looks like the only real threat right now is NE, although St. Louis is 4-1 with practically nobody noticing.

Seahawks will get them if they meet again. Its hard to beat a team twice in one season and Shaun would be back.

It's a fun thread. I picked the Giants, but on paper it could be only that team or the Pats. Then again, it's the NFL and nobody goes unbeaten. They'll lose to someone, the key in the NFL is to keep your best guys on the field. That's hard to do.

In all honesty, it's really hard to see any of these teams beating the Bears at this point. But, I just don't think they will go 16-0, so I had to pick somebody. And that somebody had to be either the Giants or the Pats, IMO. New England seemed like a safer, more logical pick, which is part of the reason I didn't take it. The Bears will probably be really geared up for that matchup as it will likely be billed as another "validation" game for them.

 

The Giants are a team that can be really, really good, or really, really bad. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say they bring their A-game against the Bears. Plus, due to the NFC East being so competitive, they'll likely be in a situation all season long in which every win is of utmost importance, so it will be a big game for them in every sense of the word.
